The Director of Operations at Papa John's Pizza is responsible for supervising the management of multiple restaurant locations, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The Director will also oversee compliance with company standards and local regulations, while fostering a positive work culture.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the management of multiple restaurants to ensure profitability and operational excellence.
  • Recruits and develops management team members, maintaining adequate staffing levels and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards and local laws regarding employment and operations.
  • Provides quality customer service and resolves customer concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develops strong working relationships with corporate departments and operations teams.
  • Manages budget and expenditures, leading sales-building activities through local marketing efforts.
  • Conducts regular restaurant visits to evaluate performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Plans and prioritizes action plans to address key issues and improve performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of progressive management experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Bilingual skills preferred in certain markets.
  • ServSafe/Local or State Food Service Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and point of sale systems.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial statements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in multi-unit supervision preferred.
  • Strong communication and strategic planning skills.
