About the position

The Director of Operations at Boka Restaurant Group is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations within a multi-outlet hotel. This includes managing banquet services, in-room dining, and restaurant operations. The role requires strong leadership and financial management skills to ensure the integration of brand standards and to deliver exceptional service and culinary experiences while managing operational and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multi-outlet hotel operations and ensure high standards of food, service, and financial performance.
  • Drive day-to-day operational excellence and oversee progress towards F&B sales and profitability goals.
  • Foster employee engagement and cultivate a productive work environment, focusing on talent retention and promotion from within.
  • Lead hiring and training of general managers for food and service, ensuring high-quality leadership in each outlet.
  • Ensure best-in-class guest satisfaction by addressing inquiries and feedback promptly and overseeing staff training programs.
  • Manage compliance and facilities management, including overseeing repair and maintenance needs across locations.
  • Handle employee relations management, including initial complaints and escalations in partnership with HR.
  • Lead strategic planning for revenue opportunities during key events and seasons, optimizing operational hours and maximizing bookings.
  • Oversee all F&B outlets and manage daily operations across multiple dining venues.
  • Communicate with hotel GM and management to achieve financial, culinary, and service standards.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and project completion.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience in employee engagement and talent acquisition.
  • Ability to manage guest satisfaction and training programs effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hotel banquet and private dining operations.
  • Knowledge of marketing initiatives and cross-team collaboration.
