DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) is the leading value-based care provider for patients with kidney disease. It creates a win-win-win for the patients, for the Government, and for providers. We have a great opportunity for a Director of Operations, IKC supporting the Illinois/Indiana markets. This position is responsible for the general management and oversight of the clinical processes, programs, and services of DaVita IKC. This position provides operational leadership, counsel, and direction to the management staff to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic, and ethical care and services. Additionally, this position works closely with operational and business leadership, providing clinical guidance supporting business results. The position has budget and P&L accountability and is a key member of DaVita IKC's clinical management team. Successful candidates will demonstrate a track record of top performance and a desire to help improve our overall healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and execution of clinical interventions to achieve clinical operational performance, outcomes, and services
• Manage, develop, and train a team of clinical and non-clinical teammates
• Maintains collaborative working relationships with all levels of management and physicians
• Maintains awareness and knowledge of assigned market and participates in internal and external business development meetings, as applicable
• Participates in the development and management of clinical operations and capital budgets
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 8-10 years experience in Leadership and Operations, Healthcare a plus
• Bachelor's required
• MBA highly preferred
• Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating management; demonstrated financial expertise
• Demonstrated experience in planning and managing at operational levels
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel; Intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
• Dialysis experience, preferred
