About the position

The Director of Operations at Venus Et Fleur is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of global operations, focusing primarily on production, inventory management, and fulfillment. This strategic role aims to drive efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction by developing long-term operational strategies and managing operational budgets. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader dedicated to continuous improvement and enhancing overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Define Operations Roadmap that aligns with the Company's Strategic goals and create tactical action plans for execution.
• Ensure all warehouses operate at peak efficiency with a focus on customer satisfaction by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees.
• Efficiently manage overall capacity and labor planning to balance organizational needs and minimize labor costs.
• Establish and track KPIs for all areas of Operations to monitor performance.
• Develop warehouse operations systems, including product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping processes.
• Hire, train, and manage a warehouse team to address operational issues and achieve performance goals.
• Review and prepare workflows, SOPs, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and complying with legal regulations.
• Identify and troubleshoot ERP/WMS related issues affecting operational workflows.
• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse and production floor, including quality assurance, inventory control, and logistics.
• Daily reconciliation of orders and shipments to maintain SLAs for all customers.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and oversee general maintenance as needed.
• Meet regularly with warehouse and production leads to develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
• Oversee logistics for transporting products to customers and internal facilities, ensuring efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management and operations.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience in developing and managing operational budgets.
• Familiarity with resource management software tools such as ERP/WMS.
• Ability to establish and track KPIs for operational performance.
