About the position

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the organization's daily activities to ensure efficiency and productivity. This role focuses on aligning business activities with the organization's strategic objectives, emphasizing organizational development. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, resource allocation, process improvement, and collaboration with department leaders to enhance overall effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and objectives in collaboration with executives and leaders.
  • Drive organizational development initiatives and manage change processes to enhance business effectiveness.
  • Advise and execute methodologies to enable channel sales to achieve objectives.
  • Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including budgets and personnel.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of operational activities with business objectives across departments.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate operational performance with department leaders.
  • Implement succession planning to identify future leaders and optimize workforce planning.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in a senior management position.
  • Significant experience in operations management with a proven leadership track record.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound decision-making ability in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • Proficiency in negotiating and resolving conflicts.
