LOVE THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS? COME GROW WITH US! Creole Cuisine is a local, family-owned, and operated restaurant group with multiple locations. We are currently seeking experienced Area Directors. We are looking for only the best throughout the New Orleans area with Casual or Upscale background. The Director of Operations provides strategic direction for the team of operations and support Directors and acts as the primary support for the Directors in his/her designated area. The Director of Operations must convey the Creole Cuisine culture. The Director of Operations is responsible for mentoring all positions within his/her operational area to ensure a high level of engagement and success. This role maintains availability for the development of all operational personnel and supports, reinforces, and aligns decisions with Creole Cuisine's unique culture. The Director will assist Area Directors to ensure restaurants are delivering an exceptional Guest Experience and financial profitability. Training and development are key components of this role, as the Director trains and develops Area Directors, manages career expectations for the leadership team, and clearly conveys standards. In addition, the Director of Operations manages strategic initiatives by understanding, defining, and delivering the purpose, requirements, and desired results of all Company programs. This includes leading the area in the execution of these programs and being directly accountable for developing strategies and directing support of restaurant marketing, training/talent, and recruiting functions. The Director works with the Area Directors to develop, implement, and manage a business plan for restaurants, analyzing external and internal environments to detect where improvements may be made and how those changes should be implemented. Financial accountability is a critical aspect of this role, as the Director maintains full responsibility for financial performance directly impacting area restaurant operations. This includes overseeing the financial performance of the team of Area Directors, performing financial analysis of individual restaurants and the district, and making recommendations for improvements. The Director is accountable for all aspects of the restaurant EBITDA, including budget planning, management, and performance, as well as analyzing business trends and financial data to assess and improve area performance, both operationally and financially.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 months of multi-unit management with a proven record of success required, preferably in casual dining.
  • Experience in an organization where he/she had specific career progression.
  • Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the store.
  • Knowledge and skills in staffing with a proven record of results.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws.
  • Local store marketing experience preferred.
  • Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Posi Touch (POS), Compeat, Hot Schedules.
