About the position

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business, which includes managing a team of 15 individuals across various roles. This position combines office, warehouse, and field work, focusing on optimizing processes, managing inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Design and drive efficient processes that create cost savings.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, reverse logistics, receiving, and project staging.
• Design new inventory management process, including software implementation.
• Handle project management duties, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee customer experience team to ensure effective communication with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Supervise schedulers who coordinate installations, repairs, and other field operations.
• Manage installation team (10 technicians), ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in operations and/or project management, preferably in a related industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in inventory management and project management.
• Experience managing a warehouse.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
