About the position

The Director of Operations at Calyx Living is responsible for overseeing the opening and ongoing operations of a regional group of assisted living facilities. This role focuses on ensuring high standards of quality, service, operating efficiency, and financial performance while making a positive impact on the lives of seniors in North Carolina. The position requires strong leadership skills to build and manage high-performing teams and ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and manage high performing community-based teams.
• Ensure stable, timely day-to-day operations including staffing and service delivery that result in high resident and family satisfaction.
• Deliver community census and financial performance at the industry-leading levels expected by the company.
• Hold communities accountable to delivering clinical results and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a routine, ongoing presence in the community.

Requirements

• 3 years of Executive Director experience in senior living required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working in multiple senior living communities in an operations support, training or troubleshooting capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree from a traditional in-person college or university.
• A licensed North Carolina administrator or the willingness and ability to get licensed within the first 6 months at the company.
• Ability and willingness to work fully in-person.
