About the position

As the Director of Operations for DaVita Kidney Care in the West and North Michigan region, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a portfolio of 12 outpatient dialysis clinics. This leadership position requires an ambitious, operationally-focused, and results-driven individual who is ready to take on the responsibility of managing approximately 150 teammates, including 12 direct reports who are clinic managers. You will be accountable for a significant P&L ranging from $30-$40 million, reporting directly to a Division Vice President. Your collaboration with other regional and division leaders, including finance managers, people service managers, and medical directors, will be essential in driving the business forward and achieving operational excellence. In this role, you will have complete accountability for your P&L, managing financial and revenue growth, labor management, contract management, and capital expenses. You will be tasked with driving operational, financial, team, and clinical performance by focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs). Working closely with clinic managers, you will support clinic teams in achieving regional goals and addressing top growth priorities. This includes providing due diligence and leading successful operational conversions on acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategic planning initiatives that maximize the region's clinical care and growth potential. Your ability to interface with business leaders from various functional teams, including Finance, People Services, Strategy, and Quality, will be crucial. Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of 12 outpatient dialysis clinics in the West and North Michigan region.
• Manage approximately 150 teammates, including 12 direct reports (clinic managers).
• Accountable for a P&L of $30-$40 million, managing financial and revenue growth.
• Drive operational, financial, team, and clinical performance by focusing on KPIs.
• Support clinic teams in achieving regional goals through collaboration with clinic managers.
• Address top growth priorities and lead successful operational conversions on acquisitions.
• Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to maximize clinical care and growth potential.
• Interface with business leaders from various functional teams, including Finance, People Services, Strategy, and Quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a supervisor/leader in operations with 2+ years of multi-site experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong leadership acumen with successful team management and development experience.
• Prior P&L management experience with a track record of successful financial and operations leadership.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments.
• Demonstrated strong analytical ability and critical thinking skills.
• Availability for regional and some national travel.
