About the position

The Director of Operations at Meeting Street Jasper & Beaufort is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all school-level operations, ensuring that non-academic functions run smoothly to support the educational mission. This position requires a self-driven and passionate individual who can manage a small team, implement operational systems, and maintain a safe and efficient school environment. The Director will work closely with the Principal and other staff to enhance student learning and well-being, making a tangible difference in the lives of children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all non-academic school-based functions and personnel including operations specialists, office managers, and custodial staff.
• Monitor performance of all school-based operations staff and provide coaching and development.
• Develop and implement a multi-year school operations staffing plan.
• Maintain the safety, efficiency, and physical appearance of school facilities.
• Design and implement safety systems including emergency preparedness drills.
• Plan the move to a new campus and facility, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Oversee campus food services programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage daily student attendance and operational systems.
• Provide technology and IT support for school operations.
• Ensure accurate data entry and manage procurement for supplies.
• Plan and lead school and community events, engaging families and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least five years of work experience including supervisory and management experience.
• Prior experience working in a school or school system, with knowledge of school data and operations systems.
