About the position

The Director of Operations at TEKsystems is responsible for overseeing the customer service and network operation center phases of the Broadband Department. This role focuses on enhancing service quality, developing training programs, and fostering team morale while ensuring operational efficiency and effective communication within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and maintains the customer service and network operation center phases of the Broadband Department.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all consumers, vendors, and the public.
  • Reviews position descriptions and specifications for the Broadband Department.
  • Appraises the performance of internal Broadband Department personnel and provides counseling for development.
  • Develops training programs for internal Broadband Department personnel.
  • Stimulates morale and motivates team spirit throughout the Broadband Department.
  • Formulates and recommends operational processes for Broadband customer service representatives and NOC.
  • Develops procedures for the Broadband Department in consultation with staff and other department heads.
  • Holds frequent meetings to determine problems and needs within the department.
  • Authorizes vacation schedules and overtime for the Broadband Department as needed.
  • Participates in job training, safety programs, and the annual Cooperative meeting as required.
  • Provides weekly and monthly reports to the Broadband Operations Manager on departmental work accomplished.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing a NOC center or similar operations.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement training programs.
