About the position

The Director of Operations at Carrier Enterprise is responsible for providing leadership, management, and vision for the Central Plains Region. This role focuses on ensuring effective and efficient operational and fulfillment outcomes across all regional facilities, driving improved performance in various operational disciplines such as safety, warehousing, and transportation. The Director will collaborate with customer service, order management, and inventory planning, while also overseeing transportation logistics and fostering cross-functional relationships to address organizational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily functions necessary for business execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop strategies to assist the assigned area in meeting critical goals and objectives efficiently.
• Approve and allocate resources based on business priorities.
• Evaluate and recommend changes to policies or procedures.
• Manage customer service, order management, and inventory planning functions closely.
• Drive compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and create standardized processes.
• Oversee relationships with contracted trucking partners.
