About the position

The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing global operations across multiple regions, focusing on strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement. This role involves managing international supply chains, ensuring compliance with regional regulations, and implementing scalable processes that align with corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background and the ability to manage diverse teams across different countries, serving as a key liaison between Operations, IT, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of operations professionals.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company's international growth objectives.
  • Oversee global supply chain operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution of products/services.
  • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs for vending machines.
  • Develop and manage budgets for international operations, ensuring cost controls and profitability targets are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production support and operational continuity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing international teams.
  • Proven track record of managing complex global operations, including experience with supply chains, procurement, and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and global market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and operations-related technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365.
  • Competent in Excel and Power BI reporting.
