About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. The Director of Operations will play a key leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and will be responsible for driving business development, managing projects, and improving processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a senior leadership position, with experience in strategic planning and negotiation. In this role, you will develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, oversee and manage various projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, and lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance and support as needed. You will also identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and partners, and negotiate contracts and agreements with external parties. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the CEO and other senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement business development strategies. You will analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions, ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, manage budgets and financial reports, and assist with HR needs such as onboarding, employee retention, and payroll. Additionally, you will process billing to send to our stakeholders such as DFCS and County governments and develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in operations management
  • A strong background in business development and project management
  • Experience in process improvement and strategic planning
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial reports
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, operations management, or a related field.
