About the position

The Director of Operations will lead and manage operations across multiple states in the home services industry, focusing on optimizing performance and ensuring high standards of customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader who will oversee operations in Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, and northeast Ohio, driving operational efficiencies and maintaining a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Operations Managers across multiple sites to achieve business objectives and exceed performance goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all locations.
  • Ensure consistent service delivery standards and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with site managers to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to site management teams.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure that financial targets are met across all sites.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to oversee operations, conduct site visits, and support the team in each location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a multi-site operations management role within the home services industry.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a track record of driving operational success in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to oversee operations.
  • Proficiency in using technology and software tools to manage and track operational performance.
