About the position

We are seeking a talented and creative Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and a passion for storytelling through visual media. As an Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling narratives that engage and captivate our audience. This role requires proficiency in various editing software and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production standards.

Responsibilities

• Edit video content for various platforms, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand standards.
• Collaborate with producers and directors to understand project requirements and creative vision.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere for video editing, incorporating motion graphics and 2D animation as needed.
• Enhance visual content through photo editing using Capture One and other relevant software.
• Manage media files effectively, including uploading and downloading via FTP.
• Create engaging graphics using Adobe Illustrator to complement video projects.
• Work with photography assets, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into video content.
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Editor or similar role in the media production industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, with experience in motion graphics and 2D animation being highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Capture One for photo editing and management of photography assets.
• Knowledge of FTP protocols for efficient media file handling.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator for graphic creation is a plus.
• Understanding of Maya or other 3D animation software is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
