About the position

The Director of Photography (DP) will collaborate with a video director to create visually captivating videos for a luxury perfume brand in New York City. This role focuses on storytelling through visuals, particularly in the high-end fashion and beauty sectors, and aims to establish a long-term professional relationship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the video director to conceptualize and execute video shoots.
• Capture high-quality footage that showcases the luxury perfume brand's fragrances.
• Utilize advanced cinematography techniques to enhance visual storytelling.
• Manage lighting, camera angles, and shot composition to achieve desired aesthetics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director of Photography or similar role in fashion or beauty videography.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end fashion or beauty projects.
• Proficiency in operating professional video equipment and editing software.
