About the position

The position is within the Physician Practice department, located in the Milwaukee Area of Wisconsin. It is a full-time salaried role with a schedule from Monday to Friday. The role involves developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies related to the operations of the physician practice. The candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluation, and continuing education initiatives. Additionally, the role includes preparing operational and departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding, and directing internal and external audits. The candidate will also evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies related to the physician practice operations.
  • Develop goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
  • Direct and evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience in ambulatory Behavioral Health or Medical Subspecialties (Endocrinology, Pulmonology, or Infectious Disease)
