About the position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and integrity of all building systems including heating, plumbing, and environmental systems.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal safety standards and regulations.
  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing education and support.
  • Strategically plan for repairs, maintenance, and capital item replacements.
  • Prioritize demands and make sound decisions regarding facility operations.

Requirements

  • In-depth technical understanding of repairs and preventative maintenance for heating systems, plumbing, and general construction.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and online systems.
  • Fiscally responsible with a focus on budget management.
