About the position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and integrity of all building systems including heating, plumbing, and environmental systems.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal safety standards and regulations.
  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing education and support.
  • Anticipate the needs of the facility and prioritize maintenance demands.
  • Make sound decisions regarding repairs, maintenance, and capital item replacements.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility in managing expenses and projects.

Requirements

  • In-depth technical understanding of repairs and preventative maintenance for heating systems, plumbing, and general construction.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and make decisions.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer systems including Word, Excel, and online platforms.
