About the position

The Director of Plant Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing the Engineering Department's operations under the guidance of the Vice President of Facility Services. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective management of maintenance schedules, supervising technical operations, and maintaining the overall functionality of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Vice President of Facility Services in the overall operation of the Engineering Department.
• Perform and supervise preventive maintenance schedules.
• Compute costs, schedule, and expedite operations and repairs.
• Supervise and inspect building and grounds.
• Assist in ordering equipment and supplies.
• Assume duties of building operations in the absence of the Vice President of Plant Services.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent; graduation from trade school preferred.
• Five (5) years of experience in hospital maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
• Supervisory experience in maintenance work preferred.
• Clean driving record (no moving violations within the last three years and no previous DUI charges) if driving a company vehicle.
