About the position

The Director of Plant Operations (DPO) at Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in Temple, Texas, is a key member of the hospital leadership team, responsible for overseeing the facility's operational and administrative functions. This role includes managing environmental services and security departments to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations, while also collaborating with the CEO to support the overall operation of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CEO to support overall hospital operations.
• Manage environmental services and security departments.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agency regulations.
• Serve as the hospital's safety officer.
• Oversee maintenance and technical operations of the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in maintenance and environmental services in a hospital environment.
• Current and valid state Driver's License.
• Knowledge of JCAHO/OSHA regulations and standards.
• Experience with boilers, chillers, hot water distribution systems, emergency power generators, safety codes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
