About the position

As the Director of Plant Operations at Select Specialty/Regency Hospitals, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operational integrity of our facilities. This position is essential for ensuring that our hospital environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to the healing process of our patients. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility's maintenance, including the provision of utilities, restoration, renovation, and new construction projects. Your leadership will guide the administrative and technical functions of the department, ensuring that all operations align with our mission to provide exceptional patient care. In this role, you will actively participate in various hospital committees, particularly those focused on Safety and Infection Control, to ensure that our practices meet the highest standards. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining a Quality Control Program that adheres to OSHA standards and current federal, state, and local regulations. Your ability to lead a team, manage resources effectively, and implement innovative solutions will be vital in enhancing the quality of life for our patients and the community we serve. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and grounds management.
  • Manage the provision of utilities and oversee restoration and renovation projects.
  • Plan, direct, and supervise all administrative and technical aspects of the department.
  • Develop, review, and manage departmental activities and personnel.
  • Participate in hospital committees, particularly Safety and Infection Control Committees.
  • Establish and maintain a Quality Control Program.
  • Ensure compliance with Environment of Care and OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control standards.
  • Experience in facility maintenance and operations.
