About the position

The Director of Practice Operations at Solaris Health Holdings LLC is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Urology clinic across all health center facilities. This role involves ensuring efficient clinical operations, collaborating with various stakeholders to develop policies, and implementing strategic decisions to enhance service delivery. The incumbent will also work closely with the finance department to manage billing processes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while addressing the unique needs of the patient population served.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and administer day-to-day operations of the Urology clinic.
  • Ensure economical and efficient performance aligned with strategic goals and clinical operating budget.
  • Collaborate with executives and management to create supportive policies and procedures for high-quality healthcare services.
  • Develop and implement strategic decisions affecting overall clinical operations.
  • Resolve escalated operational issues requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Focus on increasing efficiency of clinical resources and improving productivity at all levels of operations.
  • Develop local clinical operational policies and provide advice to executive leadership as a subject matter expert.
  • Manage daily operations, continuous quality improvement, and oversee provider utilization reporting.
  • Ensure financial goals and key performance indicators align with industry benchmarks and organizational targets.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to develop productive teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or related field or ten (10) or more years of Practice Management experience in a medical practice setting; Urology preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of managerial or supervisory experience; Urology practice preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite and knowledge of EHR platform(s).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise staff, managing performance effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare planning, management principles, medical terminology, and healthcare coding systems.
