About the position

As the Director of Product Management for Addressability at PubMatic, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital advertising in a privacy-first world. This position is designed for an exceptionally entrepreneurial Product Manager who is passionate about leading the success of our addressability products. With the impending phase-out of third-party cookies and mobile identifiers, the need for innovative solutions in addressability has never been more critical. You will be responsible for empowering both publishers and advertisers to thrive in a cookie-less environment, ensuring they can effectively reach their target audiences across various ad formats and devices. In this role, you will lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products that address the challenges posed by the evolving digital landscape. You will collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams to create a compelling product vision, build a strategic roadmap, and gather and prioritize customer requirements. Your ability to coordinate resources from different teams and guide them through the entire product lifecycle will be essential to your success. You will also drive product development in collaboration with engineers and designers, ensuring that the products not only meet market needs but also exceed customer expectations. Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to integrate insights gained into idea generation, product requirements, and prioritization. Defining success metrics and regularly analyzing performance metrics will help you track the effectiveness of your products and make data-driven decisions to enhance their impact. Fostering team motivation and maximizing efficiency in a constantly evolving environment will be crucial as you lead your team to navigate the complexities of product management in the digital advertising space.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products in addressability.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams to create product vision, build product strategy and roadmap, gather and prioritize customer requirements, coordinate resources from different teams, and guide the team through the whole product lifecycle.
  • Drive product development in collaboration with engineers and designers.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and attend industry events; integrate the insights gained into idea generation, product requirements and product prioritization.
  • Define success metrics, analyze and track performance metrics regularly.
  • Foster team motivation and maximize the efficiency in a constantly evolving environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in product management.
  • Proven track record of collaborating in technical environments with diverse, cross functional teams to shape product vision, develop product strategy, define product requirements, coordinate with different teams, and guide the team through all milestones.
  • Experience in building products from concept to launch (0 to 1 products).
  • Proficient in analyzing complex, large data sets and using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, execution, and communication skills.

Benefits

  • Compensation ranges between $170,000 and $210,000 plus package and benefits.
