Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is seeking a Director of Product Management - Data Governance & Privacy to lead high visibility data governance and privacy strategy and technology solutions across Disney's portfolio of entertainment & sports brands, including flagship streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN. This executive leadership role is focused on enabling Disney Streaming and Disney business and technology teams with best-in-class data capabilities to power our digital applications, enable analysis and reporting on user behavior, marketing, ad targeting, financial reporting, and more while ensuring our products adhere to international and domestic privacy laws as well as TDWC Global Information Security Policies and Standards. The Data Governance team supports data management, access management, policy enforcement, sensitive data detection, consent management, and more. This team captures behavioral and technical data as consumers use our websites and applications, ensuring we adhere to regional privacy regulations for data usage, honor user preferences, and maintain excellent data quality and reliability. Additionally, this team chairs a Data Stewardship Council and a Data Governance Council, which include business, legal, technology, and partner product teams' senior leadership to drive DE-ET-wide privacy and governance cross-functional initiatives. Successful candidates will have experience in technical product management developing and implementing tools for consent management, metadata and master data management, privacy services, OneTrust CMP, as well as data quality in support of high visibility/high-volume consumer applications. The teams in this organization work with senior stakeholders from many parts of the Disney Entertainment business to ensure data requirements from across the breadth of the business are well understood, documented, translated into technical requirements, and implemented & validated by technical teams. This role requires a high degree of communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to creatively solve problems, troubleshoot issues, and interpret data. This role reports to the Executive Director, Data Governance.
