About the position
As the Director of Product Management for MuleSoft Anypoint Monitoring & Runtime Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product offerings. Your primary responsibility will be to develop a comprehensive product vision and drive the execution of the roadmap for MuleSoft Runtime Services. This will enable enterprise customers to run their business applications with high performance, scalability, and resiliency. You will also co-develop the vision and roadmap for Anypoint Monitoring products, which are essential for providing enterprise customers with full insights into their application deployments, allowing them to make informed, data-driven business decisions. In this role, you will collaborate across various teams to actively drive the vision and desired outcomes for the product ecosystem. Effective communication will be key, as you will need to articulate product priorities and decisions to external customers, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership. Building consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders will also be a critical part of your responsibilities. Frequent engagement with customers will be necessary to understand their evolving needs and ensure that the product roadmap aligns with their expectations. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the product management team, leveraging your extensive experience in product management within the enterprise software technology sector. You will be expected to bring a strong background in engineering or tech consulting, which will enhance your ability to envision, build, and deliver software platforms and services that meet the needs of enterprise customers. Your expertise in cloud platforms, monitoring, and observability will be crucial in delivering enterprise-grade runtime and platform products at scale, utilizing cloud-native architectures. This position requires a strong vision, roadmapping, and execution capabilities to create monitoring products that are valuable and user-friendly for enterprise customers. You will be at the forefront of integrating innovative technologies such as real-time systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence into our offerings, unlocking unlimited possibilities for our customers. Your leadership presence will be vital in influencing and building trust with executive stakeholders and enterprise customers, ensuring that our product strategy aligns with their goals and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop product vision and drive roadmap execution for MuleSoft Runtime Services.
- Co-develop vision and roadmap for Anypoint Monitoring products.
- Collaborate across teams to drive the vision and desired outcomes for the product ecosystem.
- Communicate product priorities and decisions with external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Engage frequently with customers to understand their evolving needs and deliver on the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management with proven dynamic growth in PM career at enterprise software technology companies.
- Prior experience in Engineering or Tech Consulting or equivalent roles is a plus.
- Strong experience in envisioning, building, and delivering software platforms/products/services to enterprise customers.
- Experience in driving GTM strategy, pricing, adoption, usage, and EOL through the product lifecycle.
- Deep knowledge in building platform services using public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.) and Hybrid cloud ecosystems.
- Knowledge in telemetry Monitoring & Observability product ecosystem for enterprise users.
- Expertise in designing and delivering secure, highly available, scalable cloud platforms/services.
- Strong vision, roadmapping, and execution abilities to build Monitoring products of value.
- Top-notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge in MuleSoft or equivalent Integration and API management products and markets.
