About the position

MongoDB is seeking a senior product leader to define the long-term vision for customer-facing observability for MongoDB Atlas and the internal observability platform. This role involves delivering best-in-class observability solutions, partnering with third-party platforms, and creating an internal metrics as a service platform. The leader will align product roadmaps and partnerships to enhance operational decisions and improve anomaly detection and prediction mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration across engineering, support, design, marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
• Develop a vision and roadmap for increasing application adoption on MongoDB.
• Understand all aspects of the business to ensure alignment with product and company needs.
• Influence decisions on technical, business, and organizational issues related to observability.

Requirements

• 15+ years of product or engineering experience with enterprise-focused technologies.
• Experience managing, monitoring, and deploying databases at scale; MongoDB experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with the application stack and enterprise application development processes.
• Solid technical skills to advocate for users and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
• Ability to establish and communicate product strategy and vision to stakeholders.
• Strong team skills to bring together diverse views and foster collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to large audiences.
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to tackle broad challenges.
