As the Director of Product Management for Sales at GEICO, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our sales experience and driving our next stage of growth. This hybrid position allows for flexibility in work locations, including Chevy Chase, MD, and other major cities across the United States. We are seeking a highly skilled individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses a strong ability to manage large programs and initiatives effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a collaborative team focused on enhancing and building a best-in-class sales experience for our customers. In this role, you will act as a single-threaded owner, working closely with various stakeholders across technology, business, product management, and design. You will leverage your expertise in front-end experiences and downstream services to support the everyday sales needs across all channels and insurance product offerings. Your ability to influence organizational change through effective scoping, process improvements, and fostering a positive team culture will be crucial to your success. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for prioritizing and monitoring initiatives with Line of Business teams, ensuring the execution of strategic product priorities. Your self-motivation and change leadership skills will be essential as you continuously challenge and improve existing processes and procedures. You will also be expected to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives and make data-driven decisions to optimize them for our insurance platform. Additionally, you will define, develop, and manage product artifacts such as Vision, Strategy, Roadmap, and Experimentation Plans. Your role will involve leading a team through change, diving into details when necessary, and writing requirements to deliver scalable solutions and business results. You will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring Product Managers, ensuring they have clear career paths and opportunities for growth. Your knowledge of underwriting, rating, and insurance product offerings will be a significant asset in this role.
