About the position

As the Director of Product Management at Salesforce, you will be at the forefront of creating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our product offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of market and customer needs, which you will translate into prioritized product requirements. You will provide critical insights that inform decisions across the company, including those made by executive leadership, to set strategic directions. Your expertise will be essential in guiding the product management team to successfully build and implement the product roadmap in a fast-paced, agile development environment. In this position, you will work closely with UX, product development, and product marketing teams to ensure that the product roadmap aligns with customer needs and market trends. You will own the understanding of user and customer use cases, leveraging your relationships with key internal partners to align priorities and provide prioritized use cases for our engineering teams. A customer-first mentality is crucial as you work to build the right product-market fit while collaborating across Salesforce to map product capabilities. Your role will also involve leading product delivery and driving strategic transformation at various scales throughout the enterprise. You will be responsible for shipping applications and services tailored for different personas within the enterprise, addressing both industry-specific and horizontal use cases. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to enhance, integrate, and advance existing applications and services while maintaining or improving customer satisfaction and functionality. You will need to possess a solution-oriented mindset, strong communication, and collaboration skills to thrive in this environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create the vision, strategy, and roadmap for product offerings.
  • Translate market and customer needs into prioritized product requirements.
  • Provide insights to inform critical decisions across the company.
  • Work closely with UX, product development, and product marketing teams.
  • Own the understanding of user/customer use cases and align priorities with internal partners.
  • Lead product delivery and drive strategic transformation at various scales.
  • Ship applications and services tailored for different personas within the enterprise.
  • Enhance, integrate, and advance existing applications and services.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
  • Work with AI/GenAI/LLM technologies to unlock product possibilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including data-oriented, analytics, SaaS & B2B products.
  • Experience in taking products through the full product cycle, from proposal to launch.
  • Experience delivering successful SaaS products, especially for the Enterprise.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of highly scalable web applications and/or SaaS products.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience as a product owner leading Agile teams at a technology company over multiple product releases.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with relevant products and platforms such as Salesforce, MoveWorks, Slack, ServiceNow, OpenText.
  • Subject matter expertise in ITIL, ITSM, ITOPS, COBIT, Incident Management, Change Management, Employee Self-Service.
