About the position

The Director of Product Management will lead the strategy, development, and execution of innovative Measurement While Drilling (MWD) products. This role is critical in ensuring product excellence and alignment with market needs, driving profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction within the downhole drilling sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for MWD products.
• Oversee the product lifecycle, from conception through to development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
• Manage budgets for product development and ensure financial targets are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing to align product features with market demands.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements to existing products.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers and support engineers to foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in product management, specifically within the MWD or downhole sector.
• Proven experience in budget management and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and development processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to develop and communicate a strategic vision for products.
