About the position

The Director of Product Management at CompanyCam is a key leadership role responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy. This position involves leading a team of product managers, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring that the products developed meet the needs of customers in the construction sector. Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and market needs, focusing on the construction industry.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Coach product teams on continuous discovery practices to ensure that customer feedback informs product development and enhances user experience.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs within the construction sector.
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and go-to-market execution.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, understand pain points, and ensure that products meet their needs.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, customer satisfaction, and market impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on B2B SaaS solutions, preferably in the construction or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products through the entire product lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring product teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Notion, Metabase, Basecamp, Amplitude).
