About the position

The Director of Product Management at Sysco is responsible for leading the product management team and overseeing the e-commerce portfolio. This role involves collaborating with product leadership to develop and manage the strategic roadmap for Sysco's digital commerce initiatives. The director will engage with key stakeholders, advocate for customer experience, and drive standardization across the company while ensuring the team meets their growth goals and delivers on commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product leadership to develop and manage the annual strategic road map for Sysco's digital commerce.
  • Lead and manage the product team, setting growth goals and measuring progress throughout the year.
  • Advise and hold the team accountable for delivering on their commitments and decisions.
  • Oversee and manage the Sysco e-commerce portfolio, balancing road map, ad hoc, and technology workstreams.
  • Create executive communications around the planning and progress of the portfolio.
  • Engage with and support product managers through all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Interface with key business stakeholders to manage high priority initiatives.
  • Identify new opportunities to increase efficiencies and drive growth in partnership with Sysco Corporate and product leadership.
  • Advocate for the customer experience within the company.
  • Drive standardization of key experiences across the company.
  • Define, maintain, and support product Ways of Working including standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer/information science, business, engineering, human computer interaction (HCI), or related discipline with relevant work experience.
  • 7 years in a management role leading a product management team.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related roles, including business analysis, user experience, information architecture, usability testing, and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in computer/information science, business, engineering, human computer interaction (HCI), or related discipline with relevant work experience.
  • Coursework and/or experience in project/program management or product operations.
  • Experience in hospitality or the food service business.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $175K - $221K per year.
