About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Hiya is a leadership role focused on creating and implementing the product marketing strategy. This position is pivotal in driving product success through strategic planning, market analysis, and effective go-to-market strategies. The director will lead a team of product marketing managers, ensuring effective product positioning in the market and collaborating with various teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market gaps, trends, and customer needs to guide product and marketing strategies.
  • Plan and launch new products and features with cross-functional teams, ensuring sales and marketing are prepared with the right resources.
  • Craft clear, compelling product messaging for consistent use across all platforms.
  • Provide industry expertise to shape product marketing and influence product direction based on market and competitive insights.
  • Align technical and non-technical teams to meet customer needs and market demands, ensuring product timelines match go-to-market plans.
  • Mentor and inspire the product marketing team to achieve company goals and drive impactful initiatives.
  • Track performance and refine strategies using data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Experience managing enterprise SaaS go-to-market strategies with long sales cycles and high customer volumes.
  • Proven track record of leading the product marketing function and driving success in high-growth companies.
  • Proven success in launching new products and driving product marketing in high-growth startups.
  • Experience developing marketing initiatives & strategies for AI-driven products or platforms.
  • Experience with B2B or B2C product-led growth models.
  • Familiar with telecom carrier business dynamics and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis tools and experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Proficiency with sales enablement and knowledge management systems.
  • A confident communicator who aligns senior leadership and teams around product marketing goals.
  • Expert at turning technical features into simple, impactful customer messaging.
  • Analytical thinker who uses market trends and customer insights to craft strategies that drive growth.
  • Skilled in building, mentoring, and managing strong product marketing teams in fast-paced settings.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to bridge gaps and align engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Capable of balancing long-term planning with quick execution.
  • Results-focused, taking ownership of product marketing outcomes.
