About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at ActiveCampaign is a strategic leadership role focused on shaping the company's messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. This position is responsible for driving product innovation and customer growth by leading a high-performing team dedicated to customer acquisition, expansion, and adoption. The role requires collaboration across various teams to execute impactful product launches and ensure alignment with market needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the go-to-market strategy and tactics for all products and regions.
  • Create compelling narratives that resonate with ActiveCampaign's target audiences.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts as a thought leader and subject matter expert.
  • Build expertise in target markets, segments, buyer personas, competitors, and partners.
  • Ensure successful product and feature launches by collaborating with Product and Marketing teams.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and CX to align on go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the enablement team to ensure Sales and CX teams have effective assets and messaging.
  • Recruit and develop top talent for the product marketing team.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product marketing and/or related field with the majority of time in product marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • B2B SaaS experience.
  • MarTech or adjacent industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to turn complex concepts into innovative marketing messages.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Superb communications skills across all mediums and levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive a mentality of continuous optimization, growth, and performance.
