About the position

As the Director of Product Marketing at Remote, you will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy that powers our expansion in the global HR and remote work sectors. The Marketing team is the engine that fuels Remote's growth, and through various channels such as product marketing, performance marketing, events, communications, campaigns, and content, we aim to establish Remote as the international leader in our field. Your leadership will ensure that our products meet market needs, are positioned effectively, and achieve their revenue and market goals. You will define and execute strategies to reach different customer segments, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to inform your work. This role requires a strategic, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and can operate fluidly between the big picture and the small tasks while maintaining a focus on results. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales, design, PR, and engineering, to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product launches. You will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training new Product Marketing team members, establishing team goals, and ensuring performance aligns with these goals. Your ability to foster collaboration within the team and across customer groups will be essential. Additionally, you will engage with stakeholders, manage vendor contracts, and communicate marketing plans and results to senior executives. You will design and implement marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and demand, utilizing various channels such as digital marketing, content marketing, events, and PR. Your efforts will help scale product awareness and adoption through joint marketing campaigns with partners, and you will develop product positioning and messaging informed by user research and market insights.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that products meet market needs, are positioned effectively, and achieve their revenue and market goals.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in product marketing, product management, operational roles, or strategy consulting.
  • Experience building and managing teams in a fast-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong analytical mindset.
