About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Neighborly is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies for product launches and campaigns, aimed at increasing franchise revenue and providing marketing support to franchise owners. This role involves managing product storytelling, overseeing content creation, leading local marketing efforts, and mentoring a performance marketing team. The position requires a strategic mindset to optimize marketing programs and assess performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated marketing launch plans and targeted marketing campaigns for products.
  • Own product storytelling and serve as Subject Matter Expert to cross-functional Marketing & Creative teams.
  • Manage planning, creation, and distribution of all product photography, video, digital content, and copy.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and attend trade shows to understand the competitive landscape.
  • Lead individual local performance marketing efforts and provide coaching to franchise owners.
  • Develop and oversee execution of integrated annual marketing plans for franchise owners.
  • Manage and mentor local performance marketing team members.
  • Oversee development of marketing content for brand conferences and key events.
  • Report on the performance of national and local marketing efforts, assessing ROI/ROAS and KPIs.
  • Recommend and initiate brand research projects to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing high-performing teams and executing marketing programs.
  • Experience building annual, strategic marketing plans grounded in consumer insights.
  • Strong track record delivering results in a high-growth environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to influence at all levels.

  • Knowledge and experience in multiple tactical functions including media production and creative design.
