About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Prometheus Group is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating impactful sales enablement materials, and driving successful product launches. This position requires a masterful communicator who can craft compelling messaging and positioning while leading a team of product marketing managers. The role is pivotal in establishing the company's thought leadership and product market fit across various industry verticals and solution segments.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and inspire a team of experts in markets, products, customers, and competition.
  • Own the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to enable a data-driven approach to marketing and sales efforts.
  • Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new product launches and customer expansion.
  • Curate third-party sources and conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop compelling, differentiated product messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Create impactful content including corporate and product website content, collateral, and marketing materials.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the role's domain.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on messaging, positioning, and goals.
  • Provide Business Development and Sales teams with the tools, training, and materials needed to sell products effectively.
  • Engage with Industry Analysts to position Prometheus Group within the industry.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of increasing experience in Product Marketing and/or product roles.
  • 4+ years leading product marketing function or product management in the software industry.
  • Experience in the enterprise asset management segment is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading marketing teams and launching new products and services.
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence without ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a high-growth, fast-paced culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
