About the position

The Director of Product Marketing at Neighborly will lead integrated marketing strategies for the Shelf Genie team, focusing on enhancing franchise revenue through effective marketing coaching and innovative product positioning. This role involves developing targeted marketing campaigns, managing product storytelling, and overseeing local marketing execution to support franchise owners in growing their businesses. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful marketing initiatives and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated marketing launch plans and targeted marketing campaigns for products.
  • Create marketing briefs and deliver strategy & direction to Creative and Marketing channel owners.
  • Own product storytelling and serve as Subject Matter Expert to cross-functional Marketing & Creative teams.
  • Manage planning, creation, and distribution of all product photography, video, digital content, and copy.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and attend trade shows to understand the competitive landscape.
  • Lead individual local performance marketing efforts and provide coaching to franchise owners.
  • Develop and oversee execution of integrated annual marketing plans customized for each franchise owner.
  • Manage and mentor dedicated local performance marketing team members.
  • Oversee development of marketing content for brand conferences and key events.
  • Report on the performance of national and local marketing efforts, assessing ROI/ROAS and KPIs.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in multiple tactical functions including media production and creative design.
  • Proven experience in developing high-performing teams and executing marketing programs.
  • Experience building annual, strategic marketing plans grounded in consumer insights.
  • Experience managing the development of brand creative assets with agency partners or in-house creative team.
  • Strong track record delivering results in a high-growth environment.
