About the position

The Program Finance Director will lead the program finance and business analyst efforts for the CSI business line at Comtech Telecommunications Corp. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all customer deliverable requirements are met with accurate and timely financial data. The Director will standardize reporting efforts across the programs and customer set to ensure consistency and efficiency. This position requires a strategic mindset to develop and implement financial strategies that support program goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and customer requirements. In this leadership role, the Director will oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports for all CSI programs. This includes ensuring that all financial data meets customer deliverable requirements and analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for program improvement. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing standardized reporting processes across all programs, ensuring consistency in financial reporting and analysis, and collaborating with business analysts to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency. As the primary financial point of contact for customers, the Director will address customer inquiries and concerns related to financial data and reporting, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality financial information. Additionally, the Director will provide leadership and guidance to the program finance and business analyst teams, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and supporting professional development to foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement, where the Director will identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and analysis, implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance financial operations, and stay updated with industry trends and changes in financial regulations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in program finance, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing financial teams and leading finance projects.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Intermediate knowledge and use of earned value management analytics.
