About the position

The Director of Project and Program Management will support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) by managing key initiatives and providing direct support across the COO Pillar. This role involves leading and managing projects, developing project plans, and ensuring timely completion of goals while fostering collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee special projects for the Pillar as directed by the COO, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to develop project plans, set objectives, and establish timelines.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other materials as needed.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders, including the C-team and leadership.
  • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to help prioritize tasks, manage schedule, and ensure preparation for meetings and engagements.
  • Lead the efforts and manage systems for tracking and reporting programmatic activities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, change management, business administration, or a related field.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • A systems-based mindset, with commitment to systemic interventions.

  • Analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information and share it effectively with others.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, Word, PowerPoint, and general tech-savvy.
  • An organized and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven record of building productive working relationships.
