About the position

The Director of Project Management for Capital Equipment at our OEM Manufacturing company is a pivotal role that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing high-value projects related to manufacturing equipment, cranes, and elevators. This position is based in Fort Worth, TX, and reports directly to the executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project management team, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively, and that they meet the company's strategic objectives. In this role, you will develop and implement robust project management processes and methodologies that align with industry best practices. You will lead and mentor a team of project managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, as well as monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. You will conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure that projects remain on track and within budget. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to this role, as you will work closely with various departments to ensure alignment with project objectives. You will utilize project management software for planning, tracking, and reporting, ensuring that all team members are informed and engaged throughout the project.
