The Director of Project Management & Design at Positive Energy Solar is a pivotal role responsible for leading the Residential Project Management and Design teams. This position oversees solar projects in alignment with the company's Quality Deployment Process, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Director will set revenue objectives, standardize operational processes, and develop performance metrics aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing schedule variations. This role requires a strong focus on training team members on NetSuite and other relevant management systems, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and effectively managing project scope, schedules, costs, and necessary adjustments. In this capacity, the Director will oversee project management, design, and permitting processes across two regions, Santa Fe and Albuquerque. This includes managing subcontractors, ensuring accurate project documentation, and maintaining proactive communication with clients. The Director will also collaborate with various departments to drive ongoing improvements in project quality, efficiency, and profitability, while upholding the company's commitment to excellence and fostering a positive work environment. Regular travel between the Santa Fe and Albuquerque offices is required, and mileage reimbursement is provided. The position reports to the Director of Operations and is a full-time, salaried role that can be performed from either office location. The Director will be responsible for leading a team of project managers and designers, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. This role is essential for maintaining the company's reputation for exceptional customer service and high-quality solar installations.
