About the position

The Director of Project Management at Gottstein Corporation is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of all projects within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project management strategies and best practices to support the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans to address potential issues.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and progress.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of MEP and general construction project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in industrial solutions or a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
