About the position

The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of project managers, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects. This role involves developing project management strategies that align with agency goals, managing high-profile client relationships, and continuously improving project management processes. The position is fully remote and offers opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support
• Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with agency goals
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects
• Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients
• Collaborate with sales and client services to manage client relationships
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes
• Implement best practices and ensure adherence across the team
• Lead post-project reviews and identify areas for improvement
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing project management team
• Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews
• Follow Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) procedures
• Assist in the development of EOS and other ad hoc projects

Requirements

• 7+ years of related industry experience, preferably as a leader within a MarTech agency
• 5+ years of demonstrated track record in developing senior-level client relationships
• 3+ years managing team members
• Experience managing enterprise-level website implementations
• Thorough knowledge of project management lifecycle (both waterfall and agile)
• Prior experience as an Account Manager/Project Manager in a digital agency
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-service skills
• Process optimization and continuous improvement mindset
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
• Creativity and strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines
• Strong business and marketing acumen
