About the position

The Director of Project Management will oversee and coordinate complex projects within the organization's research, development, and product implementation efforts, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of managers and analysts to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
• Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints
• Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project, and prepares and implements a budget
• Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate)
• Creates and maintains relationships, and acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors
• Communicates and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices

• Bachelor's degree in related field, which may include Construction, Business, or Engineering
• 5+ years of team management with a combined total of 15+ years experience in Project Management, including some in the industrial commercial construction industry
• Must have current PMP certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
