About the position

The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading the Project Management Department, overseeing the strategic planning and execution of all company projects. This role involves managing staff, ensuring project profitability, and maintaining high standards through quality control and effective communication with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as Head of Project Management Department
  • Recruit, Interview, Hire and Train Management Staff in the Department
  • Oversee the Daily Workflow of the Department
  • Provide Constructive and Timely Performance Evaluations
  • Handles Discipline and Termination of Employees
  • Develop Process Workflows, Standard Operating Procedures and Project Methodology
  • Evaluate and Monitor Project Profitability
  • Prepare Project Budgets
  • Identify and Resolve Escalated Project Issues
  • Communicate Regularly with Department Heads on Project Needs
  • Perform Periodic Quality Control to Ensure High Standards

Requirements

  • 10+ Years Related Experience in Project Management
  • Degree in Business or related field (not required)
  • PMP Certification
  • Strong leadership tendencies
  • Great communication skills
  • Highly organized individual
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with NetSuite
