About the position

The Director of Project Management at Fellowship Square, Christian Care Management, Inc. is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and execution of multiple complex projects that align with the organization's strategic objectives. This position requires collaboration with executive sponsors and project teams, ensuring effective project management methodologies are utilized to achieve successful project outcomes. The director will also mentor stakeholders and manage relationships with senior management, contributing to the continuous improvement of project management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage business sponsor relationships and cross-functional teams, influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management lifecycle methodology.
  • Participate in formulating the design and direction of project management standards and policies.
  • Lead development and implementation of standard project management tools and methodologies.
  • Mentor key stakeholders in effective project management practices.
  • Oversee major projects comprised of multiple interdependent projects/programs, coordinating dependencies between key tactics and milestones.
  • Consult with executive sponsors for major project proposals, identifying goals, time frames, funding limitations, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with related subset project teams to define and obtain consensus on complex projects.
  • Determine and execute the sponsor approval process for projects.
  • Work with department leaders to obtain appropriately skilled project resources.
  • Assume direct responsibility for project/program success and prioritize related subset projects.
  • Create and implement various management plans including issues, risk, communication, change, and relationship management plans.
  • Evaluate and manage change to ensure business objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant Project Management experience with a PMP certification or 10+ years of relevant Project Management experience.
  • Strong business and project management knowledge, typically obtained through a bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Experience managing system-wide projects involving multiple individual projects.
  • Knowledge of principles and strategies for managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary efforts.
  • Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of operating systems and network administration.
  • Ability to communicate and interact across facilities at various levels.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to handle project issues effectively.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
