About the position

As the Director of Project Management at Eagle Creek Renewable Energy, you will oversee the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of the company's project portfolios. This role involves leading a team of project managers responsible for executing various projects across hydroelectric plants, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Team to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Coordinate internal resources and vendors for successful project execution.
• Establish and implement efficient workflow processes and tools for project tracking.
• Develop Project Management Training across teams.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to monitor project progress.
• Create tools/templates for cost estimating, budgeting, and scheduling to support Project Leads.
• Ensure proper management and organization of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with external consultants and internal stakeholders for project delivery.
• Attend conferences and training to maintain proficiency.
• Serve as a Project Manager when necessary to establish budget and schedule for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of technical experience or 15+ years in the hydroelectric industry managing projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and oversee teams.
• Strong technical background in civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls projects.
• Ability to travel for project supervision and execution (~30%).
