About the position

The Director of Project Management at Insane Impact is responsible for overseeing multiple project management programs, providing strategic direction, and ensuring the successful delivery of approximately 10 projects simultaneously. This role involves training and mentoring project managers, coordinating project schedules with operations, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. The Director will lead a team focused on delivering exceptional results and creating unforgettable experiences for partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple project management programs.
  • Ensure the successful execution and completion of approximately 10 projects simultaneously.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the project management team.
  • Train and mentor project managers within the program.
  • Develop and implement training programs for project management staff.
  • Lead project coordination efforts with operations.
  • Maintain and manage the Master Calendar alongside Director of Operations.
  • Develop and support staffing timelines with Field Manager.
  • Conduct PM Meetings and maintain the PM Scorecard.
  • Enter new projects and assign project managers accordingly.
  • Ensure that all reports are sent on time and are accurate.
  • Leverage the project management team for assistance in report preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with core values and organizational/regulatory requirements.
  • Help identify reporting needs and create new reporting structure to enhance project management team efficiency.
  • Assist project management staff with creating and implementing new processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate with the warehouse on build priority for racks, LEDs, and other relevant timeline needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading
  • Previous use of precision measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Familiarity with PMBOK principles and tools
